Conspiracy to remove the Priest, Provider & Protector (Part IV)

We'll see if I can rap this up.  In the previous three blogs we learned how God has called EVERY man (father or not) to be the Priest, Provider & Protector.  I mention that this was "two-fold" in it's description but only shared the "first-fold" with you.  Here is the "next-fold".

Great High Priest
God does not call us to anything He has not given us an example to follow.  Jesus is our Great High Priest;

Hebrews 4:14 NLT
So then, since we have a Great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe.

Not only do we have a Priest in Jesus, but a High Priest, not only a High Priest but a "Great" High Priest!  What makes Him a "Great" High Priest?

Hebrews 4:15-16 NLT

This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for He faced all of the same testings we do, yet He did not sin.

So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

Jesus understands us and should because we are His creation and that is very comforting.

Our Provider

God has made me the Provider for the family which we have spoken about, but where does our provision actually come from?  If it is from my j-o-b, what about a child of God who is without a job?

Philippians 4:19 NLT

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from His glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.

Gen 22:14 KJV

And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah Jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it (His provision) shall be seen.

Jehovah Jireh is not only one of His names but is an attribute as well.  In other words it is a character trait, mark of distinction, the hallmark of who He is and how He is towards us His children.  If Jesus was able to feed 5000 men (thats 12-15k men, women and children) with a loaf of bread and a few sardines, then take up 12 full baskets of the crumbs - He's got us covered.

Our Protector

Read it all, this says it all!

Psalm 91:1-16 NLT

Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

This I declare about the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I trust Him.

For He will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.

He will cover you with His feathers. He will shelter you with His wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.

Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day.

Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday.

Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you.

Just open your eyes, and see how the wicked are punished.

If you make the LORD your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter,

no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home.

For He will order His angels to protect you wherever you go.

You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!

The LORD says, "I will rescue those who love Me. I will protect those who trust in My name.

When they call on Me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them.

I will reward them with a long life and give them My salvation."

Alrighty then, we see every mans call and where it comes from, Christ.  Now what is the "conspiracy"?  First, in my lifetime prayer is removed from public schools and in this election one party wanted to remove God from it's platform. Prayer is synonymous with God, the One True God.  Remove it and you are saying; we want you out?

Next our provision doesn't come from God, it now comes from god - what?  Little "g" god is the government.  The more needs the government appears to meet the bigger it must be and that means the more powerful it must become.  Getting it yet???

Now the government desires to be our "sole" protector by the removal of the 2nd Amendment.  It is my personal belief that God had His hand in the foundation of this land we call America.  Yes, our Founding Fathers where smart, however our Constitution and subsequent Bill of Rights are a marval of literary insight, compassion an intellect only second to God's divine Word - the Bible.  Why else would you not want to follow it or change it?
